Renthal Twinring Rear Sprocket

- They areCNC-machined from a specially enhanced 7075-T6 aluminum alloy
- The unique flat face design keeps weight to a minimum and means the Twinring rear chainwheel is as narrow as a standard chainwheel.
- These feature Renthal’sself-cleaning mud grooves at each tooth to help increase wear resistance
- The flat socket head screws add additional strength to the chainwheel during side impacts and eliminates contact with the chain guide
- This sprocket will provide maximum power transfer and long-life
Renthal’s combination of a high strength base material and exceptionally hardwearing surface result in significantly increased chainwheel life over other brands.Grooved chain-wheels have cut outs at the bottom of the tooth to allow the escape of mud that would otherwise be trapped between the chain-wheel and the chain. Allowing the easy escape of the mud prevents tension being placed on the chain and the resulting accelerated wear. The inner ring of the unique Renthal Twinring isengineer from Ultralight 7075-T6 Aluminum, which keeps the weight of thesprocket to a minimum. TheOuter ring is electro-less nickel coated steel for ultimate durability and is designed with the minimum amount of material to keep weight down. To combine these 2 rings, the outer ring is expanded at 200°C and then fitted to the inner, creating a permanent bond for the life of the sprocket. These ringswilloutlast a standard all aluminum sprocket by 3 times, yet is much lighter than an all steel rear sprocket
